Meet the Consultants
Allison Affleck - A junior from Atlanta, GA, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with a minor in Law and the Liberal Ats, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and hopes to attend law school in the future.
Brian Agnis - A senior from San Diego, CA, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with a minor in Art, he is an active member of the 2008 National Champion Spider football team and volunteer in community service programs such as bone marrow drives and Habitat for Humanity. Brian loves meeting new people and explaining to them why the Rhetoric & CS major is the best one on campus. He is best qualified to evaluate speeches in his major and mock interviews (concentrating on interviews related to student-athletes).
Tasha Baah - A junior from Kettering, OH, majoring in Psychology (pre-med), she is a Student Admissions Representative (SAR), head choreographer on D-Squad (UR's hiphop dance team), 2008 Virginia Foundation of Independent Colleges (VFIC) Claude Moore Research Fellowship recipient, A&S Research Fellow and box office assistant at the Modlin Center for the Arts. Being a well-rounded academic and personable individual, she is best qualified to evaluate all types of speeches.
Emily Bender - A senior from Philadelphia, PA, majoring in American Studies and Rhetoric & CS with a minor in History, she is involved with UR's Habitat for Humanity and is also a cabinet member for the Class of 2010. Emily enjoys writing, Sudoku, baseball, cooking and the shore. She is best qualified to evaluate speeches in her major and minor fields.
Carly Cameron - A junior from Hamilton, MA, double majoring in Rhetoric & CS and Leadership Studies with a minor in Latin American and Iberian Studies, she is active in multiple student organization including Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, InterVaristy and Young Life. She is interested in continuing her studies in law school and enjoys spending time outside with friends. Carly is best qualified to evaluate RHCS and LDST presentations. She will be studying abroad during the Fall 2009 semester.
Elizabeth DeMarco - A junior from West Chester, PA, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with a minor in Journalism, she is a Student Admissions Representative (SAR) and the PR/Marking Director for The Collegian. Elizabeth enjoys shopping, running and spending time with family and friends.
Amber Ducksworth - A senior from Stamford, CT, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with a minor in History, she is active in many different student organizations including Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Inc., Campus Activities Board, Peer Advisory Mentorship, Black Student Alliance, Multicultural Student Union and Umoja Gospel Choir. Amber is studying abroad during the Fall 2009 semester.
Jayme Epstein - A junior from Tenafly, NJ, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with a minor in Leadership Studies, she is a Student Admissions Representative (SAR). She enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies and attending sports events as a Spider cheerleader. Adam Ferguson - A junior from Martinsville, VA, majoring in Theatre Arts and Rhetoric & CS, he is a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, the University Players, Alpha Psi Omega (honorary dramatic fraternity), a Student Admissions Representative (SAR) and a Bonner Scholar. Blaike Ford - A junior from Shrewsbury, NJ, majoring in Strategic Marketing & Communications with a minor in Spanish, she is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, a member of the club field hockey team and a Student Admissions Representative (SAR). Blaike loves dancing, traveling, sports, skiing, cooking, music, the beach and spending quality time with family and friends. Amanda Malloy - A sophomore from Cresskill, NJ, double majoring in History and Rhetoric & CS with a minor in Russian studies, she is a Student Admissions Representative (SAR) and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Amanda enjoys volunteering at the Society for Prevention of Cruelty Towards Animals and Overby Sheppard Elementary School.Megan McCall - A senior from St. Michaels, MD, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with minors in Spanish and Studio Art, she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and the Orientation Chair for Westhampton College. She also works for the Jepson School as the Community Programming Assistant. Meg enjoys traveling, cooking, road trips and long meals with friends. She is best qualified to evaluate RHCS and group presentations.
Megan McNamara - A junior from Basking Ridge, New Jersey, majoring in Rhetoric & CS, she is a member of UR's Improv Troupe "Subject to Change." Meg loves photography, traveling, reading, procrastinating time in d-hall and long walks on the beach. She is best qualified to evaluate all types of speeches except difficult science concepts.
Keylin Mejia Tavarez - A senior from Corona, NY, she is a Bonner Scholar, a member of SALSA (the first and only Latin American organization on campus) and the local director of the National Student Partnership Office in Richmond. Keylin will be studying abroad during the Fall 2009 semester.
Elizabeth Moore - A junior from San Francisco, CA, majoring in Art History with a minor in Rhetoric & CS, she spends her spare time swing dancing, buying vintage clothing and watching Turner classic movies. Elizabeth is best qualified to evaluate RHCS speeches.
Mary Morgan - A junior from Elba, NY, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with minors in Journalism and French, she is involved in many activities on campus including Orientation Leadership and is a Student Admissions Representative (SAR). Mary enjoys traveling, writing, warm weather, cooking and spending time with friends and family. She is best qualified to evaluate speeches in her major and minor fields and group projects.
Darius Naficy - A junior from West Port, CT, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with a minor in law, he is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, involved in orientation advising and a member of the Portfolio Management Group. Darius enjoys playing basketball. He is best qualified to evaluate presentations in Political Science and RHCS.
Kaylin Politzer - A junior from Wyomissing, PA, majoring in Rhetoric & CS with minors in Journalism and Spanish, she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Her interests include running, traveling, cooking and reading. Kaylin will be studying abroad during the Fall 2009 semester.

Kim Ray - A sophomore now living in Cary, NC, she is planning to major in Rhetoric & CS and minor in Law and the Liberal Arts and Studio Art with an Arts Management concentration. Kim enjoys art, reading, Chinese language and culture, spending time with people she loves, challenging herself and learning new things. She is a member of the Honor Council, Art Club, Phi Alpha Delta and works at the Harnett Museum of Art.
Benjamin Sommerfeld - A junior from Hudson, WI, he is a double major in Business Administration and Leadership Studies with a minor in Law and the Liberal Arts. Ben is actively involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Collegiate Disaster Relief Team and is a Student Admissions Representative (SAR). He enjoys traveling the world, photography, disc golf, volleyball and baking. Ben is best qualified to evaluate speeches in his major fields.
Ashley Stelfox - A senior from Annapolis, MD, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish, she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and enjoys taking trips, long conversations with friends, a good meal and warm weather. Ashley is best qualified to evaluate speeches in her major and minor fields, as well as those pertaining to the sciences.

Amy Szerlong - A senior from Lake Forest, IL, majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Arts Management and a minor in Rhetoric & CS, she is the President of Alpha Psi Omega, the dramatic honorary fraternity, and the Secretary of the University Players. She enjoys acting, scrapbooking, show tunes and crosswords.
Tory Udvarhelyi - A junior from Malvern, PA, she is studying Rhetoric & CS, Spanish and Leadership Studies. Tory loves traveling and has done different study abroad programs in Panama and Spain. Her hobbies include acting, through which she has learned a great deal about public speaking and presentational skills and she looks forward to helping clients develop and improve their speech writing and delivery. Claire Ziegler - A junior from Orlando, FL, double majoring in Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Law and the Liberal Arts, she is a member of many campus organizations including Delta Gamma, the Equestrian and Polo teams.
